No one shall be ordained and consecrated Bishop until the attainment of thirty years of age; nor without the consent of a majority of the Standing Committees of all the Dioceses, and the consent of a majority of the Bishops of this Church exercising jurisdiction. No one shall be ordained and consecrated Bishop by fewer than three Bishops.
The election of a Bishop, a Bishop Coadjutor, or a Suffragan Bishop, shall be made only at an Annual Meeting of the Convention, or at a Special Meeting of the Convention, called for the purpose at least thirty days before the time appointed.
The notice shall state the purpose and be sent by the Secretary of the Convention to all Clergy canonically connected with the Diocese and to each Delegate of every Parish and Mission in union with the Convention.
