RE: The 107th Annual Meeting of the Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Western Massachusetts

For one hundred and seven years now, Episcopalians throughout the five western counties of the Commonwealth have gathered to discern God’s call to mission as the Diocese of Western Massachusetts. This year, we can rejoice in:

• our new church development work underway in Southwick;
• our emerging relationship with the Diocese of Kumasi, Ghana;
• the Three Cantors serving as chaplains and the Banquet program;
• some first rate workshops;

and be renewed in thanksgiving, purpose and missionary zeal – as we continue in our second century as a Missional Diocese.

Therefore, you are hereby notified that the 107th Annual Meeting of the Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Western Massachusetts will be held at the Springfield Sheraton Hotel in Springfield, Massachusetts beginning at Noon on Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18, 2008.
